MOLLY POPE - brassy belter/whiskey guzzler/benevolent lunatic - will continue the new concert series fresh off her acclaimed Off Broadway performances in Found at the Atlantic Theater Company and Horseplay, or the Fickle Mistress at La MaMa ETC / Theatre Askew.

Four of Broadway's busiest performers will unite for Another Opening, Another Robe tonight, March 30 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe.

At a ceremony held last night in New York, the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs announced the winners of the 2015 MAC Awards. The show was hosted by Karen Mason, with musical direction by Barry Levitt, and was produced by Julie Miller and directed by Lennie Watts.

Over the past few years, The Laurie Beechman Theatre has become a mecca for fans of drag performance, presenting many of the best drag stars from across America and even internationally. The venue just announced its Spring and Summer 2015 drag performances.

Join Eva Richards as she sings songs from award winning Broadway musicals, Latin standards such as 'Besame Mucho' and 'Guantanamera' as well as Bossa Nova hits including 'The Girl from Ipanema' and 'Dindi' at the Metropolitan Room on May 11 at 9:30pm.

Four of Broadway's busiest performers will unite for Another Opening, Another Robe on Monday, March 30 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe.

Lauren Stanford (who won the MetroStar Singing Competition at the Metropolitan Room in 2013) has convincingly done herself up to look like the legendary Helen Morgan in her new show, More Than You Know, which she introduced at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in late October and brought to 54 Below this past Friday night. Stanford's presentation is 2/3 singing and 1/3 biography. Research is evident; specific adds color. The use of framed photographs and several conjectured telephone calls is effective (the actress listens). Vocals don't emulate Morgan's controlled vibrato, but Stanford has sufficient musical feel for the period to make mimicry unnecessary. Her uneven contralto can add feeling to a song rather than diminishing it. There are, however, other issues.

Carole Demas, Broadway's original 'Sandy' in GREASE, has joined NiCori Studios and Productions and Irvington Town Hall Theater's fourth performance in the Cabaret on the Hudson series.

Ars Nova has announced the lineup for Bridget Everett Gets F*cked by Ars Nova, a one-night-only blow-out concert celebrating everyone's favorite badass b*tch, alt-cabaret priestess and Ars Nova All Star, Bridget Everett. In addition to Everett herself, the benefit concert, directed by Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Rock Bottom), will feature tributes, roasts and send-up performances from Grammy and Tony Award-winner Patti LuPone and actor, comedian and Emmy-nominee Billy Eichner. Comedians, drag queens and entertainers aplenty round out the lineup, including Jim Andralis, DJ Jonjon Battles, Justin Vivian Bond, John Early, Cole Escola, Dan Finnerty, Murray Hill, Champagne Jerry, DJ Sammy Jo, Larry Krone, Erin Markey, Molly Pope, Marc Shaiman, Sweetie, The Tender Moments (Matt Ray, Mike Jackson, Carmine Covelli and Adam 'Ad-Rock' Horovitz), Chris Tyler, Varsity Interpretive Dance Squad (VIDS); plus a few fun surprises.

Ordinary Days, a musical by Adam Gwon, will be performed for 2 nights only to benefit Theatre Development Fund's Autism Theatre Initiative (ATI) at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Tuesday April 14th & Monday April 20th at 9:30pm.

Say farewell to winter with Nat Zegree and friends as they premiere fresh new theatre and pop songs, including numbers from the upcoming musicals THE KING'S CRITIQUE and DR. KILGORE. Nat Zegree has returned to the New York stage with his second solo show to feature a special sneak peek at the two new musicals that he's writing with Eric Holmes (Smash). From behind the piano, Nat will premier musical theatre and pop songs with the help of his very talented friends. Come join the party and drink away the winter blues!

The singer, songwriter and recording artist Carolyn Montgomery-Forant continues her recent comeback as she adds new shows to the critically acclaimed run of 'Visible Phoenix' at the Laurie Beechman Theater, 407 West 42nd Street, a show which took off in October. The flame-throwing wit's first solo show since returning to the stage in January of last year, 'Visible Phoenix' marches on Fridays, tonight, March 13, and April 10, May 8. All shows are at 7pm.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.
