Join Eva Richards as she sings songs from award winning Broadway musicals, Latin standards such as "Bésame Mucho" and "Guantanamera" as well as Bossa Nova hits including "The Girl from Ipanema" and "Dindi" at the Metropolitan Room on May 11 at 9:30pm.

Eva takes you on an exotic musical excursion starting at the Great White Way heading down the East Coast, through the Caribbean and ending in Brazil.

This highly versatile singer-actress has worked with best of the best in the industry from Tony nominee John Tartaglia to Broadway veteran Shannon Lewis. Previously she played the role of Dorothy in the seven time Tony award winning musical, The Wiz.

Eva's band is made up of four top tier musicians. Guitarist Peter Calo, bassist Irio O'Farrill, percussionist Doug Hinrichs and pianist and musical director, Phil Hall.

No stranger to the cabaret musical world, Eva has headlined at several chic New York City cabaret venues including the Laurie Beechman Theatre and B.B. King's Lucille's Bar & Grill. In every performance she whips out a mean pop-rock showstopper with her high belt and melts audiences with her velvety phrasing in lyrical ballads.
