The Laurie Beechman Theatre will celebrate the 100th performance by RuPaul's Drag Race favorite Jinkx Monsoon and her cohort Major Scales on Friday, June 19th. The evening will feature a pre-show unveiling of a special hand-painted outdoor mural on the front of the building and a post-performance champagne toast.

MOLLY POPE - brassy belter/whiskey guzzler/benevolent lunatic - will extend her acclaimed concert series through September, fresh off her acclaimed Off Broadway performances in Found at the Atlantic Theater Company and Horseplay, or the Fickle Mistress at La MaMa ETC / Theatre Askew. With the new show Molly Pope Likes Your Status, she sheds all pretense of humility and shamelessly entreats you to adore her for an hour while she prances about making loud noises. Unable to deny that she defines her self-worth entirely via social media notifications, the 'viscerally thrilling alto' (Time Out New York) exploits her fragile ego and vocal chops for your entertainment. Expect the unexpected juxtapositions of song and substance alongside a healthy helping of her roots in The Great American Songbook. Over-sharing? Of course. Sing-a-long? Yes. Three encores? Why not. After debuting earlier this season, the show will now be performed today nights, June 12, July 10, August 14 and September 11, all 9:30 PM at The Duplex in New York.

Tonight, June 11th, Broadway Sessions goes to "A Whole New World" featuring the casts of the musicals currently running at New World Stages, Avenue Q and Clinton the Musical.

BAD WITH MONEY, Ben Rimalower's new play about spending beyond his means -- performed in rep with his first piece PATTI ISSUES -- will conclude its run at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue) on June 21.

Contemporary musical theatre writer Zack Zadek offers an evening of story-driven synthpop performed by vocalists from Broadway and pop-rock recording artists. Zadek will co-lead a full-piece band with Broadway Orchestrator and Musical Director Charlie Rosen (The Visit, Honeymoon in Vegas, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band). Max Friedman directs. Valerie Novakoff produces.

 What better way to celebrate flag day than with a patriotic concert delivered by some of Broadway's biggest belters? Stars from the Broadway community have lined up for a star studded fundraiser to support the Hillary Clinton Presidential campaign. 

After his critically acclaimed and sold-out concert honoring composer Maury Yeston, singer/songwriter Tim Realbuto (Ghostlight; Wunderkind) returns to the concert stage to honor more of his favorite composers with 'Tim Realbuto: Live In Living Color', an evening celebrating the songwriting duo of Marc Shamian and Scott Wittman, who are responsible for hits such as Hairspray and Catch Me If You Can. The June 9th concert event will take place at 7:00 PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street, NYC) and promises to feature Realbuto's interpretation of many of Shaiman and Wittman's biggest hits.

Emmy Award nominated actress and Grammy Award winner Kathy Brier ('One Life To Live'; 'Boardwalk Empire'; Broadway's Hairspray), Wicked star Christine Dwyer, Wendi Bergamini (Doctor Zhivago; Promises, Promises), Jennifer Fouche ('Smash'; Sistas the musical), and Elyssa Mactas (Mean the musical) complete the cast of Tim Realbuto's June 9th Marc Shaiman/Scott Wittman tribute concert.

Cardinal Theatricals has announced the Off Broadway premiere of Mrs. Smith's Broadway Cat-tacular!, an all-singing, all-dancing "demented cabaret on acid," created and performed by New York based writer/actor and performance artist David Hanbury. Directed by Andrew Rasmussen, performances will begin on Friday, July 10th at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenue). Opening Night is set for Monday, July 20th at 7:30pm. Performances will continue through September 20th.

Recently nominated for the Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award, CORINNA SOWERS ADLER returns to the Metropolitan Room, 34 West 22nd Street, for a six show major engagement opening June 15, and continuing through November 1.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) and Producers Jake McCoy and Ben Davis present THE LAST TIME WE WERE HERE, a new folk-rock musical, by Jeremiah Parker Hobbs and Jessica DeMaria. There are only two performances of this special event: Saturday, July 25, 3pm, and Monday, July 27, noon, both at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe located at 407 W. 42nd Street, New York, NY  10036.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. Bistro Award winning and MAC Award nominated singer-songwriter Nathan Chang returns to the cabaret scene with a brand new show, NAILING IT! (SONGS AND STORIES OF NAILS AND FAILS) which will premiere at the Laurie Beechman Theatre on June 16th at 7pm. Tickets are $20 ($15 for MAC Members) and can be purchased at www.westbankcafe.com.

Sondheim Unplugged, New York's long-running hit revue (currently in residence at Manhattan's 54 Below), will make a special, one night only appearance in Putnam County tonight, May 30th at 8pm at the Philipstown Depot Theatre, located on Garrison's Landing in Garrison, NY.
