The Laurie Beechman Theatre will celebrate the 100th performance by RuPaul's Drag Race favorite Jinkx Monsoon and her cohort Major Scales on Friday, June 19th. The evening will feature a pre-show unveiling of a special hand-painted outdoor mural on the front of the building and a post-performance champagne toast.

MOLLY POPE - brassy belter/whiskey guzzler/benevolent lunatic - will extend her acclaimed concert series through September, fresh off her acclaimed Off Broadway performances in Found at the Atlantic Theater Company and Horseplay, or the Fickle Mistress at La MaMa ETC / Theatre Askew. With the new show Molly Pope Likes Your Status, she sheds all pretense of humility and shamelessly entreats you to adore her for an hour while she prances about making loud noises. Unable to deny that she defines her self-worth entirely via social media notifications, the 'viscerally thrilling alto' (Time Out New York) exploits her fragile ego and vocal chops for your entertainment. Expect the unexpected juxtapositions of song and substance alongside a healthy helping of her roots in The Great American Songbook. Over-sharing? Of course. Sing-a-long? Yes. Three encores? Why not. After debuting earlier this season, the show will now be performed today nights, June 12, July 10, August 14 and September 11, all 9:30 PM at The Duplex in New York.

After his critically acclaimed and sold-out concert honoring composer Maury Yeston, singer/songwriter Tim Realbuto (Ghostlight; Wunderkind) returns to the concert stage to honor more of his favorite composers with 'Tim Realbuto: Live In Living Color', an evening celebrating the songwriting duo of Marc Shamian and Scott Wittman, who are responsible for hits such as Hairspray and Catch Me If You Can. The June 9th concert event will take place at 7:00 PM at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street, NYC) and promises to feature Realbuto's interpretation of many of Shaiman and Wittman's biggest hits.

MRS. SMITH'S BROADWAY CAT-TACULAR to Open Off-Broadway This Summer

Cardinal Theatricals has announced the Off Broadway premiere of Mrs. Smith's Broadway Cat-tacular!, an all-singing, all-dancing "demented cabaret on acid," created and performed by New York based writer/actor and performance artist David Hanbury. Directed by Andrew Rasmussen, performances will begin on Friday, July 10th at the 47th Street Theatre (304 West 47th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenue). Opening Night is set for Monday, July 20th at 7:30pm. Performances will continue through September 20th.
