Two-time Golden Globe® winner, Academy Award® & Tony Award® nominee Kathleen Turner returns to Toronto in the National Tour of Matthew Lombardo's play HIGH, tonight, May 8 through May 13, 2012, at The Royal Alexandra Theatre. Directed by Rob Ruggiero, HIGH also features Evan Jonigkeit as "Cody Randall" and Timothy Altmeyer as "Father Michael Delpapp".

Part I Love Lucy, part Jacobean revenge tragedy, part feminist manifesto, part beautiful ballet, part nature special, and part 80's power ballad, EXIT, PURSUED BY A BEAR is written by San Francisco based writer, Lauren Gunderson, and is in the midst of what's called a 'rolling' World Premiere - with separate productions in Atlanta's Synchronicity, San Francisco's Crowded Fire Theater and here in Seattle at ArtsWest.

As the 15th Annual Pacific Playwrights Festival draws near, South Coast Repertory announces the directors for this years' staged readings. They include Evan Cabnet (Warrior Class), Matt Shakman (You Are Here), Meredith McDonough (I And You), Casey Stangl (The Few) and Anne Kauffman (Smokefall).

This July, 40 of the nation's most prominent and promising writers, directors, and composers will be in residence at Berkeley Repertory Theatre in a new laboratory for collaboration. Today, the renowned nonprofit announced 13 selections for the inaugural summer lab at The Ground Floor, Berkeley Rep's Center for the Creation and Development of New Work. During an intense four-week period, dozens of artists will live, dine, create, and collaborate at the Theatre's new campus in West Berkeley.

South Coast Repertory's Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) celebrates its 15thanniversary this year with some pretty impressive numbers: By the time the festival closes, it will have given birth to 99 new plays by 78 different playwrights, almost all of which have gone on to full productions here or at theatres around the country.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater's Artistic Director, Jim Helsinger, announced the final two plays of the Signature Series 2011-2012 Season. The regional premiere of God Of Carnage, Yasmina Reza's 2009 Tony Award-Winning comedy of grownups behaving badly will run from October 12 - November 13, 2011 in the Goldman Theater. While the Orlando premiere of Red, John Logan's electrifying new drama about artist Mark Rothko that won six 2010 Tony Awards including Best Play, will conclude the series.
