After announcing on Twitter last night that she had a big announcement to share on the TODAY show, the WAITRESS composer/lyricist has announced that she is coming out from the wings onto the stage of the hit Broadway show.

On Wednesday, the acclaimed Tony- and Grammy-nominated composer and lyricist Andrew Lippa hosts this delightful evening of song. BroadwayWorld was there and has a look at Andrew Lippa and his friends below!

In an interview with Laura Heywood (aka BroadwayGirlNYC), Waitress composer/lyricist Sara Bareilles revealed she is hard at work on a new album. Not only that, but the singer-songwriter would love to star as 'Jenna' in her Broadway musical.

Laura Heywood (@BroadwayGirlNYC) has confirmed to BroadwayWorld that at the Bright Star concert tonight, music supervisor Peter Asher confirmed that the production will tour in 2018, beginning in Salt Lake City. No further details on dates or casting have yet been announced.

SPACE on Ryder Farm, a non-profit artist residency program located an hour north of New York City, hosted their first annual Farm in the City gala on October 24, 2016. The event featured a farm-to-table dinner, performances from six seasons of SPACE-developed work, and a live auction. BroadwayWorld has photos from the starry event below!
