Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys and Understudies with its next editions of At This Performance... to be held on Monday, March 9th at the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway, (above the Promenade Theatre- Broadway at 76th Street), 3rd Floor at 8 PM.

Broadway and MTV star Bailey Hanks joined Pat Goodwin of Telsey + Co Casting (the casting directors of Legally Blonde) for a one day Master Class at The Broadway Workshop that gave students the opportunity to work on every area of musical theater performance.

Legally Blonde's Bailey Hanks has just been cast to appear on two episodes of the hit CBS soap opera, Guiding Light. Hanks will appear as Amy, the Governor's daugher on episodes scheduled to shoot next week and air April 8-9, 2009.

Laura Bell Bundy, who originated the role of Elle Woods in the Broadway hit musical Legally Blonde, will be signing copies of the 'Legally Blonde' soundtrack at Books-A-Million, 1201 Main St. in the Houston Pavilions next Thursday, February 19 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Come on down and meet this talented, Tony Award-nominated musical gem!

The announcement was made yesterday that Becky Gulsvig has broken her toe and will be out for 6 weeks and that Laura Bell Bundy & Lauren Ashley Zakrin will be alternating in the role of Elle during Becky's recovery, which includes the St. Louis engagement at the Fabulous Fox Theatre from January 20-February 1.

As BroadwayWorld first reported and broke the story on this past Saturday evening, the star of the national tour of LEGALLY BLONDE Becky Gulsvig, who has received rave reviews for her performance as Elle Woods across the country, sustained a broken toe following the performance on Thursday, January 8th and will be out of the show for the next six weeks.

BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed the news that Laura Bell Bundy will be briefly returning to the role of Elle Woods, taking over the part on tour, temporarily replacing Becky Gulsvig who has broken a toe. Bundy is currently flying to Washington, DC, the tour's current stop through tomorrow and will begin performances on January 13, 2009 in East Lansing, Michigan, the tour's next stop. The length of her stay has not yet been revealed.

Montblanc presented The 24 Hour Company Production of THE 24 HOUR PLAYS ON BROADWAY on Monday, November 17th at the American Airlines Theatre. Proceeds benefited Urban Arts Partnership (formerly Working Playground), an organization that brings arts education into New York City classrooms. The New York Pops led by Vincent Falcone and Eric Stern, celebrated its hometown on Friday, November 7th at Carnegie Hall in a program entitled 'A Love Letter to New York' featuring classic songs about New York City and the world premieres of original songs about the city by composer Kenneth Laub.

Instead, Bundy will be performing a show titled JUST ME, featuring her Broadway material on October 30th and Nov 1st, 2008.

Laura Bell Bundy made her Feinstein's debut with JUST ME last night, Thursday, October 30th. JUST ME features Laura Bell singing Broadway songs as well as her own original material.
