The Broadway Cabaret series presented Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award Winner André De Shields on March 9th and 10th at Old School Square's Crest Theatre in Delray Beach, Fl. 

Hadestown star André De Shields took his Lincoln Center's American Songbook concert series audience to church with his new show, Old Dawg; New Tricks on the Appel Stage in New York on January 29.

One would hope that ANDRE DE SHIELDS: OLD DAWG; NEW TRICKS would find the theatrical life it deserves beyond this one concert. The story of JELLY and what has become of him is not just one for all, but one for the ages.

Tony Award winning choreographer and director George Faison (The Wiz) presented Andre De Shields, a two-time Tony nominee, Drama Desk nominee, Emmy winner and multi-Audelco Award and Outer Critics Circle Award winner, with the 2018 Bob Harrington Lifetime Achievement Award at the 33rd Annual Bistro Awards Gala, held at Gotham Comedy Club in New York on March 12th. De Shields received the Bistro Awards' highest honor for his five decades of stage and nightclub accomplishments.

Hoff-Barthelson Music School presents a special concert for children featuring a performance of Camille Saint-Saens' beloved work "The Carnival of the Animals," on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at 2:00 pm, at the School, 25 School Lane, Scarsdale. The concert, performed by members of the School's superb faculty under the direction of Chi-Chi Lin Bestmann, will introduce youngsters to many of the instruments of the orchestra. Executive Director Ken Cole will serve as narrator using the humorous verses especially written for this piece by Ogden Nash.

Following an SRO engagement of his acclaimed theatrical concert BLACK BY POPULAR DEMAND at the Laurie Beechman Theatre last May, two-time Tony Award nominated and Emmy Award winning performer ANDRÉ DE SHIELDS returns to the cabaret stage! His latest theatrical concert, I PUT A SPELL ON YOU will be performed for two shows only, Friday evenings October 5 and 12 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre Downstairs at The West Bank Café (407 West 42 Street).
