This class is a weekly workout Tuesdays, January 14 a?" March 31, 7pm-10pm where actors test their performance abilities in a safe and playful environment. Through working on scenes of various genres, actors will discover their strengths and weaknesses with the help of a trained actor/director's eye. Over the past four decades, Tambor has been an inspiration both on and off screen, bringing many iconic characters to life while cultivating a uniquely personal approach to his craft. He has taught acting classes on the West Coast and workshops at SXSW for many years. This empowering class focuses on identifying and conquering the fears that keep us from trusting our own creative voices. 6 or 12 week options available. Based on the actual atrocities committed circa 2004 onward at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, Bad Apples is another bold undertaking by Circle X, one that is scathingly real and at the same time exhilarating theatre. Two soldiers Specialist Charles Graner - named Chuck Shepard (James Black) in the play and his fiance Lynndie England - here named Pvt. Lyndsay Skinner (Kate Morgan Chadwick) were convicted in courts martial, imprisoned and dishonorably discharged for torture, abuse, and sexual crimes including rape of Iraqi prisoners.

The production, which follows a couple who endeavors to achieve the ultimate relationship via therapy, runs through May 9 at Mineral's Lounge Theater 2. Mike O'Malley, Mineral's Artistic Director who has guest starred on GLEE, produces. Missy Yager directs.
