The new offering features six autumnal-themed premieres as part of the network's highly rated 'Fall Harvest' event, as well as 22 new, original holiday movies premiering during the #1 'Countdown to Christmas' slate. The announcement was made today as part of Crown Media Family Networks' bi-annual Television Critics Association Press Tour.

Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will increase production on original specials in the coming months that will give viewers a glimpse at new, original movie premieres, celebrate seasons and further the company's commitment to raising awareness for pet rescue and the benefits of having pets in our lives. The announcement was made today as part of Crown Media Family Networks' bi-annual Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour.

This summer, Hallmark Channel takes viewers on an exciting trip around the world with its annual Summer Nights programming event celebrating the sun-drenched days of leisure and love. Seven time Emmy Award-winner Ed Asner and three time Emmy Award and Tony Award-nominee Kate Burton will star in a two-week East Coast tour of concert readings of Jeff Cohen's play The Soap Myth. The readings, which will be directed by Pam Berlin and will also feature Ned Eisenberg & Blair Baker, will serve as a tribute to International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The tour will begin on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Miami Beach Florida, and will conclude on Thursday, February 1 at Hofstra University on Long Island.
