Trent Armand Kendall (host of TRENT ARMAND KENDALL Broadway Download, City World Radio) is host and producer of an outdoor, summer concert series at Pier Village, Long Branch, NJ. Pier Village is the most popular destinations on the Jersey Shore with retail, restaurants, international food trucks, residences and varied, exciting summer programming. Broadway at the Pier is a free event. Patrons are invited to bring their favorite blankets and chairs to enjoy a high energy, 60 minute concert of classic, contemporary and Broadway hits.
Earlier this week, La MaMa hosted a 29-hour Equity reading of Chix 6, with Book/Music/Lyrics by Lourds Lane. The event featured direction by Jackson Grace Gay, music direction by Wendy Bobbitt Cavett, and assistant music direction by Julie McBride.
Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director and Melissa Huber, Managing Director) continues its 2015/16 IGNITE Series at The Times Center (242 W 41st Street), with a concert celebrating the works by Fred Ebb Award Winners John Bucchino, Doug Cohen, Robert L. Freedman & Steven Lutvak, Adam Gwon, Nathan Tysen & Chris Miller on November 21 at 8pm.
On December 6th, most of the original cast of the Broadway musical Lysistrata Jones will reunite in concert at 54 Below. Set to reprise their Broadway roles are Ato Blankson-Wood, Katie Boren, Lindsay Nicole Chambers, LaVon Fisher-Wilson, Patti Murin, Kat Nejat, Josh Segarra, Libby Servais, LaQuet Sharnell, Charlie Sutton, Jason Tam, Teddy Toye, and Jared Zirilli.
Ellyn Marie Marsh (KINKY BOOTS, PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT, ENRON), and Daniel Patrick Smith (ELF THE MUSICAL Nat'l Tour) round out the cast of BOOKTRESS Offline: The Official Launch Concert Party. BOOKTRESS LLC has launched - and what better way to kick off the hottest new resource for working actors in NYC?! A launch concert party, of course.

On August 24, 2014, NEWISES closed on Broadway. Exactly one year later, cast members from the hit Broadway musical came together on the stage of 54 Below to reminisce. In the lineup were songs of various music styles, stories and memories of their time with the show. Below, watch as Andrew Keenan-Bolger, the original Crutchie, performs 'Letter from the Refuge'- a song that wasn't added to the show until the launch of the national tour.
