ABC Family has announced that the final season of THE SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER is set to air on Monday, March 18. In addition, an all-day marathon will air on the same day from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM ET/PT, leading into the premiere of the final season, starting at 8:00 PM ET/PT.
Production began last week on the fifth season of the TNT police drama SOUTHLAND. The critically acclaimed series from Warner Bros. Television and John Wells Productions stars Michael Cudlitz, Shawn Hatosy, Regina King and Ben McKenzie.

'The Convert' opened last night, April 19 at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Writer-actress-producer Denise Nicholas, author of the award-winning novel Freshwater Road, and star of Room 222 and In the Heat of the Night, will receive the Integrity Award from the Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival, announced Adilah Barnes, co-founder of the non-profit organization which provides venues for multicultural and multidiscipline solo artists.

The 43rd Annual Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards ceremony will take place on Monday, March 19, 2012 at A Noise Within, the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, in its new 33,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art venue in Pasadena, thanks to the generous donation of A Noise Within's management. The theatre is located on the corner of Foothill Boulevard and Sierra Madre Villa Avenue at 3352 East Foothill Blvd., Pasadena, CA 91107. Tickets are $40, and should be reserved in advance from the LADCC's website, at www.ladramacriticscircle.com.
