Last night, March 9, The Tony Award-winning revival of HAIR: A Tribal Love-Rock Musical welcomed a completely new Tribe on Broadway, led by American Idol alums Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo, and newcomer Kyle Raibko. BroadwayWorld was there to capture their debut.

Many theater-goers today have a keen sense of what 'musical theatre' should look like. For some, a Rodgers and Hammerstein classic fits the bill. Others may think of some of the mega-musicals that have graced the stage over the years, but for some, a new show like Spring Awakening excites, energizes, and adds a whole new facet to the musical theatre experience. Atlanta audiences will have the opportunity to experience this revolutionary show at the Fabulous Fox Theatre March 9 - 14 presented by Broadway Across America - Atlanta.

It was also announced that a completely new ‘Tribe' will debut in the Broadway production on Tuesday evening, March 9th.

The Original Cast of the current Broadway revival of HAIR played their final performance last night on Broadway and we were there! The new Tribe will debut on Tuesday, March 9, at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, as the current cast takes the production to the West End, opening April 14 at London's Gilegud Theatre.

The producers of SPRING AWAKENING announced today that Saskatoon native and Toronto resident Kyle Riabko will return to SPRING AWAKENING on April 14. Riabko plays the role of Melchior Gabor in the touring production of this eight-time Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical, which is playing Toronto's Canon Theatre through April 19.

In a surprise turn of events, Original Broadway Cast Member Matt Doyle will be joining the touring cast of Spring Awakening in the lead role of Melchior for the Toronto Run.
