Join NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) in celebrating independent cinema and Black History Month on February 24th. The night's first program will be an assortment of short films that include tales of dealing with loss, a superhero with one unique power, a biopic of a late German filmmaker, and the premiere of Kyle Bornheimer's short comedy, The Talk, which grapples with the question of when to give up on one's dreams.

CBS FALL PREVIEW, hosted by the Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award-winner Jane Lynch, star of CBS's new comedy series ANGEL FROM HELL, is a primetime special highlighting the Network's five new fall series. It will be broadcast Monday, Sept. 7 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and CBS All Access, the Network's digital subscription service.

Sundance Institute presents its U.S. and World Cinema Dramatic and Documentary Competitions and the out-of-competition NEXT <=> section of the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, running today, January 22 to February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The Festival is the centerpiece of the year-round public programs for the Institute, which also hosts 24 residency labs and grants more than $2.5 million to independent artists each year.
