The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for Shakespeare's The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Renowned director, Globe alumnus, and Tony Award nominee Mark Lamos (Compleat Female Stage Beauty, Pentecost, Resurrection Blues) returns to the Globe with one of Shakespeare's most delightful and boisterous comedies. The final production of the 2014 Summer Season will be presented in the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theatre, August 10 - September 14, 2014.
Tony Award-winning director and playwright Mary Zimmerman will transform the Matthews stage of McCarter Theatre Center with her sublime theater magic with her production of The White Snake, based by the classic Chinese fable. This electrifying, radiant, and delightful play will run October 15 through November 3.

The Rufus Equation played to a sold out house this past Tuesday evening at The Connelly Theater (220 East 4th Street, NYC), the Fringe Festival's largest venue. In addition, this Saturday's performance (August 17 at 6:15 p.m.) is also sold-out.
Geoffrey Arend will lead the cast as Professor Bert Rufus. Arend's film and television credits include Garden State, Supertroopers, (500) Days of Summer, Save the Date, Beach Pillows, Devil, The Ringer, 'The Closer' (TNT), 'Law & Order' (NBC), 'Trust Me' (TNT) and 'Body of Proof' (ABC). Onstage he was seen in The American Pilot (MTC) and Mother Courage and Her Children (Public).

The play will run in the Victor Jory Theatre beginning tonight, March 20, opening March 22 and running through April 7th.

The play will run in the Victor Jory Theatre beginning on March 20, opening March 22 and running through April 7th. The production is part of the 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays, made possible by a generous grant from the Humana Foundation.
