Today in the NY Post, Michael Riedel writes 'Chenoweth has another show in her future - a revival of Cy Coleman's 1978 operetta "On the Twentieth Century," which she hopes to do with Peter Gallagher. She'd play Lily Garland, the temperamental movie star (Madeline Kahn in the original). It's a perfect role for her, and she generated good buzz when she appeared in a reading at the Roundabout a couple of years ago.'

Just a few months ago, Michael Riedel reported that Bette Midler has been approached for a revival, for which she seemingly passed, telling interviewers that she didn't see herself wanting to carry an entire musical for 8 shows a week. Now, it might be Kristin Chenoweth's turn.

THE FANTASTICKS, the world's longest running musical, will celebrate a record breaking 20,000th New York performance, on Sunday, September 15, 2013, announced producers Catherine Russell and Al Parinello. The milestone will mark the first time a production (on Broadway or off-Broadway) has ever reached 20,000 performances and will be commemorated in a month long celebration that includes performing at Broadway in Bryant Park and Little Italy, and with The Museum of The City of New York's future cyber gallery highlighting the history of the production.

TLC's original installment of the popular SAY YES TO THE DRESS franchise returns on Friday, August 16 at 9/8c for a 10th season with actress and broadway star Kristin Chenoweth.

Broadway favorite Kristin Chenoweth will moderate AN EVENING WITH CAROL BURNETT on July 22 at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in Los Angeles. The event was originally scheduled for last summer, but was postponed after Chenoweth was hospitalized as the result of an accident on the set of the CBS drama series The Good Wife. Tickets are sold out.
