WAM Theatre has announced the casting for their fall production of Holy Laughter by Catherine Trieschmann. The production will be directed by Megan Sandberg-Zakian and opens on November 1, on the St. Germain Stage at Barrington Stage Company's Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center in Pittsfield.

WAM Theatre has announced the cast for their reading of The Tall Girls by Meg Miroshnik, the next event in the 2015 Fresh Takes Play Reading Series. The first Fresh Takes reading of 2015 sold out last month, as did all five of the readings in 2014 inaugural season, proving Berkshire audiences embrace contemporary plays written by women and focusing on the unique stories of women and girls.

WAM (Women's Action Movement) Theatre is gearing up for its most ambitious and daring fall production: the New England premiere of Winter Miller's timely drama, In Darfur. Preparations come on the heels of WAM Theatre's enlightening fifth-season celebration, Change Makers, during which Artistic Director Kristen van Ginhoven announced that Mother of Peace Ilovo, an orphanage in South Africa, will be the beneficiary of WAM's 2014 philanthropic donation. In Darfur will run from October 30 - November 16 at the Berry Family Studio at Shakespeare & Company, where tickets are now available for purchase. Opening night is Saturday, November 1.
