Get ready for the pre-Broadway production of Ana s Mitchell's musical Hadestown at the Citadel Theatre with a brand-new trailer!

Kira Guloien is one of the Canadian actors cast in Ana s Mitchell and Rachel Chavkin's much-anticipated pre-Broadway Canadian Premiere of Hadestown.

The 2016 Off-Broadway hit, Hadestown is in the thick of rehearsals and set-up in preparation for its Canadian premiere at the Citadel Theatre November 11 to December 3, 2017, and anticipated Broadway run in 2018.

Just announced, the pre-Broadway production of Anais Mitchell's musical Hadestown will star original cast members Patrick Page and Amber Gray, reprising their roles as Hades and Persephone, respectively.

The new Citadel Theatre season, starting in less than two weeks, is literally stellar for the many accomplished artists, local, national, and international, who will appear on Citadel stages in the coming months.

The pre-Broadway Canadian engagement of HADESTOWN will star three Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark alumni: Patrick Page, Reeve Carney, and T.V. Carpio. Rachel Chavkin, who directed the original Off-Broadway production, will helm the show in Canada.

The world premiere engagement of SOUSATZKA, with book by Craig Lucas, music by David Shire, and lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr., based on the original novel 'Madame Sousatzka' by Bernice Rubens, begins previews in Toronto tonight, February 25, with opening night set for March 23, 2017.

Young People's Theatre (YPT) has been overwhelmed by public response to the musical, Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang, announcing today the run would be extended due to demand. Originally slated to run from November 16th to December 20th, the show will now run right through the holidays, to January 3rd. A signature production in YPT's history, this action-packed musical - the company's most-produced show and amongst its most beloved - will feature new music and lyrics by the talented young song-writing duo, Britta and Anika Johnson.
