Don Nguyen's HELLO, FROM THE CHILDREN OF PLANET EARTH Opens Tonight

The World Premiere of Don Nguyen's Hello, From the Children of Planet Earth opens tonight, on March 7 at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project. Presented by The Playwrights Realm (Katherine Kovner, Founding Artistic Director; Roberta Pereira, Producing Director) and directed by Jade King Carroll, this philosophical, and tender comedy is split between the perspectives of a lesbian couple trying to conceive, and their potential-sperm-donor/aerospace engineer friend as they're stretched to contemplate the unknowns of their future.

Public Theater Announces Line-up & Casting for Fifth Season of Public Studio

The Public Theater announced the fifth season of PUBLIC STUDIO today, which will present two new plays this spring. The OBIE Award-winning NAATCO, National Asian American Theater Company, concludes their 25th anniversary season with the New York Premiere of MJ Kaufman's Sagittarius Ponderosa. Ken Rus Schmoll directs an all-Asian American cast that includes Daniel K. Isaac (of TV's 'Billions'), Mia Katigbak, Glenn Kubota, Bex Kwan and Virginia Wing.

M-34 will present the devised physical theatre piece Sweat & Tears, created by Jess Goldschmidt (Tall Women in Clogs at the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe; W.R. Salome at Dixon Place) and James Rutherford (All That Dies And Rises at IATI; The Importance of Being Ernest Hemingway at Access Theater) at JACK (502 1/2 Waverly Avenue between Fulton Street and Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn) July 22-31 with performances on Friday, July 22, Saturday, July 23, Sunday, July 24, Monday, July 25, Thursday, July 28, Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30 at 8pm and Sunday, July 31 at 3pm.
