South Coast Repertory announces their 2024 production of 'The Old Man and The Old Moon' in partnership with Mission San Juan Capistrano.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre celebrated the end of its 2018/2019 run and the new works theater community with the OriginKC: NEW WORKS FESTIVAL, running April 19 through May 19, 2019. The focal point of the Festival is the three-day intensive Festival Launch Weekend, May 3, 4 and 5, that features staged readings, panel discussions, two premiere opening nights, and post-show conversations.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre wraps up its 2018/19 season with the fourth annual OriginKC: NEW WORKS FESTIVAL, April 19 through May 19, 2019. The OriginKC: NEW WORKS FESTIVAL positions Kansas City as a major player and national center for the cultivation and production of new works, while offering theatre artists from across the country the financial, creative, and artistic resources required to develop vital, diverse works of theatre.  

Kansas City Repertory Theatre continues its 2018/19 season with John Steinbeck's classic story OF MICE AND MEN at Copaken Stage in the Power & Light District, from October 19 through November 11. The play, directed by KCRep's Interim Artistic Director, Jason Chanos, explores the decay of the American dream and the enduring threads that bond friends together for life.

Joel de la Fuente (Amazon's 'The Man in the High Castle,' 'Hemlock Grove') made a triumphant return to the New York stage in his Drama Desk nominated role as Gordon Hirabayashi and 30 other characters in Jeanne Sakata's Hold These Truths, which opened on December 7 and is currently playing a limited run through December 20 at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street at the corner of Elizabeth Street). Gordon Hirabayashi, directed by Lisa Rothe (Science Fair: An Opera with Experiments at HERE), at The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture (18 Bleecker Street at the corner of Elizabeth Street) begin tonight, December 6, with opening night slated for Thursday, December 7.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the new Broadway production of J. B. Priestley's Time and the Conways, directed by Tony winner Rebecca Taichman (Indecent). The play returns to Broadway for the first time since its premiere in 1938 and opens officially tonight, October 10, 2017. This is a limited engagement through November 26, 2017 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). Hang A Tale's Kim Martin-Cotten will direct The Little Prince at The Pearl Theatre running now through March 22nd. The cast is lead by Tarah Flanagan as The Prince and Christopher Gerson as the Aviator, while a mercurial ensemble (Kimiye Corwin, Michael Arden Larson, Jacques Roy, Jude Sandy and Paola Styron) shape-shifts its way through the host of beautiful, hilarious, and bizarre characters that surround them. With live musical performance by Alexander Sovronsky, puppets and masks created by Matt Cotten of Puppets Among Us, and space travel courtesy of Christopher Gersons's video design, Hang A Tale creates a theatrical landscape to match the magic, poignancy and humor of this beloved classic. For the open-hearted, aged six to a hundred and six.
