Big Noise Theatre Company has announced the cast for Legally Blonde the Musical, running weekends Oct 10-19 at Prairie Lakes Theatre in Des Plaines, IL. Legally Blonde is based on the beloved 2001 movie and 2007 Broadway show about a sorority girl who discovers herself and makes good at Harvard Law at the same time!

Kokandy Productions present their Season 2014 closer - ASSASSINS, directed by Rachel Edwards Harvith with music direction by Kory Danielson and choreography by Mike Ford. ASSASSINS opened on Saturday, June 14 at 8:00pm, and runs at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont in Chicago, and continues through Sunday, July 20, 2014. Young Audiences New York, (www.yany.org), announced today the appointment of Eileen Doyle as executive director of Young Audiences New York, (YANY), one of the nation's leading nonprofit arts education organizations. In this role, Ms. Doyle will lead YANY in its ongoing collaboration with the New York City public school system to provide arts-based instruction to support learning in core academic subjects, including reading and math. Currently YANY services over 80 schools and institutions throughout the New York metropolitan area with an array of arts education performances, teaching artist residences, family programs and professional development programs. Ms. Doyle will also be responsible for raising the visibility of YANY in the community and increasing donor support.
