THE COLOR PURPLE, The Musical about Love, will end its run of the national tour in Grand Rapids on April 4th, after a stint of 8 performances.

The producing team of the Broadway smash hit THE COLOR PURPLE, The Musical about Love, are proud to announce that Grand Rapids will host the national touring production of THE COLOR PURPLE for 8 performances, March 30-April 4, 2010.

Little House on the Prairie, The Musical, a new musical based on the beloved Laura Ingalls Wilder series of classic American books, will take the stage thru March 28, 2010 at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Melissa Gilbert, who rose to fame as a child playing Laura in the hugely successful NBC television series 'Little House on the Prairie' during the 1970s, now continues her legacy 'on the prairie' by taking on the role of 'Ma.' Little House on the Prairie, The Musical will also star Steve Blanchard as 'Pa' and Kara Lindsay as Laura.

Becker will perform songs by John Kander and Fred Ebb, Andrew Lippa, Cole Porter, Stephen Sondheim, Maury Yeston, Irving Berlin, and more.
