West Palm Beach's only resident professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks will kick off its 11th Anniversary season with George Bernard Shaw's play 'Candida' on Friday, October 8th (8PM) at their intimate downtown theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard). The season will continue with a distinguished roster of plays including the southeast premiere of 'Freud's Last Session' by Mark St. Germain, 'Dinner With Friends' by Donald Margulies and 'The Beauty Queen of Leenane' by Martin McDonagh.

Tony Nominee Stephanie D'Abruzzo will join The Upright Citizen's Brigade's Gravid Water Monday April 26. Gravid Water was created by Stephen Ruddy, the show is a mixture of improv and theatre. Gravid Water consists of two person scenes, pairing an actor who has prepared a scene from a play with an improvisor who has no knowledge of the material their scene partner is using.

Originally written more than forty years ago as a 30-minute pop cantata for performance in schools, Joseph was one of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's first collaborations. Fueled by early praise and a desire to expand the show, Rice and Webber modified the script, and Joseph was professionally staged as a full-scale musical in 1972. Herb Foster will play Valentine; Kevin Kelly will play Sea Captain; Tony nominee Stark Sands will play Sebastian; Baylen Thomas will play Curio; Jon Patrick Walker will play Fabian; and Tony Award winner Julie White will play Maria. TWELFTH NIGHT will feature original music by symphonic folk-rock band Hem.
