EUDORA WELTY - MISSISSIPPI STORIES to Open at Theatre Row This Summer

Summoners Ensemble Theatre, the team behind A Christmas Carol at the Merchant's House featuring John Kevin Jones, is pleased to announce that Eudora Welty - Mississippi Stories, adapted from the works of Eudora Welty by Voices of the South and Gloria Baxter, will debut in New York this summer at the Studio Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Artists Repertory Theatre recently announced the extension of 'We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as South West Africa, From the German Sudwestafrika, Between the Years 1884-1915,' due to outstanding advance ticket sales. This is the third play this season that has been extended prior to opening due to demand. The show runs now through April 10, 2016, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Commissioner Srinivasan Will Be Honorary Chair of A CHRISTMAS CAROL at the Merchant's House Gala Tonight

As we approach the 50th Anniversary of the passage of New York City's Landmarks Law in 2015, it is especially timely that we have the privilege to announce Meenakshi Srinivasan, Chair of the Landmarks Preservation Commission, as the Honorary Chair of A Christmas Carol at the Merchant's House Benefit Gala. The Merchant's House was the first building designated a landmark in the Borough of Manhattan at the inaugural meeting of the Landmarks Preservation Commission in September 1965.
