The Hawaii Shakespeare Festival (HSF) returns to The ARTS at Marks Garage in the center of the vibrant downtown arts district for its twelfth season. For over a decade, the Hawaii Shakespeare Festival has been presenting three Shakespeare plays each year without repeating in its quest to produce all of Shakespeare's plays for Hawaii. At the conclusion of this season, HSF will join the ranks of the few festivals worldwide that have completed the canon. The season includes Troilus and Cressida, opening July 19; Timon of Athens, opening August 9; and As You Like It, opening August 23. Each play runs two weekends. Free companion lectures are offered for each play.

Saeko Ichinohe Dance Company will have a 38th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, March 29, 2007 at 7:30 & Sunday, March 30 at 3:00 pm at The Ailey Citigroup Theater (The Joan Weill Center for Dance), 405 West 55th Street at 9th Avenue. The program will include five pieces including two World premieres and a revival of a Ruth St. Denis piece. Saeko Ichinohe dedicates the performances to her mentor, Antony Tudor in his centennial year.
