Marvel Studios has begun principal photography in Los Angeles, California, on its newest film, “Captain Marvel.” The production is shooting in and around the greater Los Angeles area, which will also serve as the production base for the film. The production will also shoot on location in Fresno, California, as well as locations in Louisiana, including Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios and Disney's upcoming AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR has pushed up its release date to April 27. This new date is a week earlier than the previously announced May 4. Read more about it from The Hollywood Reporter here!

BLACK PANTHER Becomes Domestic Box Office's 17th Highest Earning Release In Less Than Two Weeks

The Walt Disney Company today announced Marvel: The Universe Unites, an epic charity campaign combining the super powers of the cast of Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War to help support children's charities. The week-long event will see stars of the movie team up for a series of hero acts and social media challenges to provide funds and raise awareness for charities that support children and families impacted by serious illness. The initiative will culminate the weekend of March 3 when shopDisney.com and Disney stores in the U.S. will donate 10% of sales of all Marvel products made between March 3-4, 2018 (up to $50,000) to Make-A-Wish® to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

According to Variety, Disney-Marvel's BLACK PANTHER is heading for a $235 million debut over the four-day President's Day weekend at 4,020 North American locations, estimates showed Monday.

Music/Hollywood Records are releasing the digital album of the Black Panther score,composed by Grammy®-nominated composer and songwriter Ludwig Göransson, on February 16, 2018.
