Over the course of a career spanning more than 40 years, the two-time Grammy winner has amassed a fan base, critical acclaim, Gold albums, and an avalanche of awards. From ballads of sweet soul music such as "Feel the Fire" and "I'm So Into You" to the chart-topping hits such as "If Ever You're in My Arms Again" and "Can You Stop the Rain" to the Oscar-winning duet collaborations with Celine Dion ("Beauty and the Beast") and Regina Belle ("A Whole New World"), Bryson has proven himself the consummate vocal professional.

R&B vocalist Brian McKnight has spent the better part of the last two decades on top of the charts, churning out one romantic hit after another for the Mercury, Motown, Warner Bros. and E1 Music labels. The multi-instrumentalist and 16-time Grammy nominee will explore some relatively new musical territory as a frontman for The Duke Ellington Orchestra from tonight, May 16 through May 18 at the Blue Note. The Ellington Orchestra will perform without McKnight on May 19.

North Carolina Symphony Presents Free Summer Concerts Across the State

This summer, the North Carolina Symphony will present eight free outdoor concerts in communities across the state. Beginning with a program featuring several all-American favorites, May 31-June 4, and including the Symphony's popular Independence Day concerts, July 1-4, and "Pops in the City" in the Raleigh Amphitheatre, Sept. 9, these performances collectively labeled "Concerts in Your Community" are a gift to the people of North Carolina to launch the Symphony's 80th year of service to the state.
