The Staten Island Zoo has announced that it is now the home to many new animals. In every wing you will find a new member of the Staten Island Zoo family.

Will we have a short winter or will it be another six weeks until spring? Only Staten Island's CHUCK knows and he ain't telling until Groundhog Day, Feb. 2nd! Join Staten Island CHUCK in a ceremony presented by Time Warner Cable's East Region/NYC, along with notable public figures from around the City (Mayor Bloomberg is scheduled to be there), for his much anticipated prediction on Wednesday, Feb. 2nd at the Staten Island Zoo. Gates open 7 a.m., Chuck's prediction is at 7:30 a.m. Chuck will also be making appearances throughout the day. The ceremony is a free event.
