To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Broadway's Record-Breaking hit musical Chicago, Sony Music has released the first ever vinyl edition of the Gold-Certified, Grammy Award-winning 1996 New Broadway Cast Recording.

In a monumental move, Tony Award nominee Robert Longbottom will serve as director and choreographer for a newly conceptualized production of Into The Woods at Theatre Under The Stars this holiday season.

 The producers of IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, have announced casting for the upcoming National Tour.   The show will star Sean Montgomery as 'Bob Wallace', Jeremy Benton as 'Phil Davis', Kerry Conte as 'Betty Haynes', and Kelly Sheehan as 'Judy Haynes'.  Also featured are Lorna Luft as 'Martha Watson', Conrad John Schuck as 'General Waverly', Dave Schoonover as 'Ralph Sheldrake', Aaron Galligan-Stierle as 'Mike Nulty', Frank Ridley as 'Ezekiel Foster', and Clancy and Samantha Penny as 'Susan Waverly'. Rounding out the cast are Kelly Black, Maria Rose Briggs, Elish Conlon, Laurie DiFilippo, Sarah Fagan, Matthew Kilgore, Danny McHugh, Chris McNiff, Kara Mikula, Bryan Charles Moore, Kristyn Pope, Jake Primmerman, Sean Quinn, Rachel Rhodes-Devey, Jessica Wockenfuss, and John T. Wolfe.  

The Orpheum Theatre Group has announced that the U.S. National Tour of ANNIE, now in its third smash year, will play December 13-18 at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Memphis. Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin for the 19th time, this production of ANNIE is a brand new incarnation of the iconic Tony Award-winning original.

On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Rob Urbinati's Mama's Boy, which runs October 18 through November 6 at the New Brunswick theatre. Betsy Aidem (Broadway's All the Way, GSP's God of Carnage) stars as Marguerite Oswald, the headstrong mother of Lee Harvey Oswald, played by Michael Goldsmith (TV's Doctor Who, Gotham).
