Musicians On Call (MOC), a groundbreaking nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities across the country, kicked off a first-of-its-kind, four city Rock The Room Tour (RTRT) in Nashville last week raising over $130,000 with the help of some of the biggest names in Country music including Reba, Martina McBride, Kelsea Ballerini, Charles Esten and honoring Warner Music Nashville's Vice President & Creative Director Shane Tarleton. The next stop on the tour will be Los Angeles, with an event to be held Tuesday, December 1st at Greystone Manor that will honor Phil Guerini, Vice President, Music Strategy Disney Channels Worldwide and General Manager - Radio Disney Networks with a “Golden Ukelele” for the Leadership in Music Award. The event will also honor longtime MOC advocate Rachel Platten with the Music Heals Award for her volunteer work performing for patients at over 50 MOC programs.

Radio Disney will launch Radio Disney Country, a modern, multi-platform country music-focused network for families, this fall. It was announced today at CMA Fest by Phil Guerini, Vice President, Programming and General Manager, Radio Disney, who was accompanied by country music's youngest rising stars Hunter Hayes, Maddie & Tae and Kelsea Ballerini. The 24/7 network will feature chart-bound young artists and today's biggest country hits, including Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes, Maddie & Tae, The Band Perry, Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett and RaeLynn.

Nevada's largest country music festival, Night in the Country, will kick off its 14th year with some of country music's hottest artists as well as the biggest lineup in its history. To accommodate the larger lineup, the festival will be opening a second stage as well as beginning the music on Thursday night. This year's festival will take place July 23 - 25, 2015 at the Lyon County Fairgrounds in Yerington, Nev.
