'NBC's New Year's Eve' will kick off 2019 with the biggest names in music as Jennifer Lopez and Bebe Rexha join the previously announced line-up that includes Diana Ross, Kelly Clarkson, Andy Grammer, John Legend and Blake Shelton, as well as Keith Urban and Brett Young, who will perform live from Jack Daniel's Music City Midnight: New Year's Eve in Nashville. 

Following a show-stopping performance on last night's season finale of NBC's The Voice (watch here), singer-songwriter Brynn Cartelli has released her new song “Last Night's Mascara” – available now via all DSPs (stream here). The self-penned track sees her collaborating with Jesse Shatkin (Kelly Clarkson, Sia) and Mozella (Madonna, Miley Cyrus) for a brilliantly candid anthem. “I'm so excited about releasing 'Last Night's Mascara' because it showcases my love for storytelling in a real, stripped down, raw way” said Cartelli.

Chevel Shepherd, a 16-year-old female country artist from Farmington, N.M., was crowned champion of "The Voice" tonight. The popular young singer from Team Kelly earned coach Kelly Clarkson her second consecutive "Voice" win on the four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series.

The countdown to Christmas begins and ends with an all-out love blitz this year in For the Record's latest world premiere, LOVE ACTUALLY LIVE, a hybrid entertainment that blends scenes from Richard Curtis' 2003 film Love Actually with live performances of the movie's soundtrack. The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), a professional membership organization of songwriters, composers and music publishers, announces the top ASCAP holiday songs of 2018. According to an ASCAP analysis of streaming and terrestrial radio data, the hit classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” written by ASCAP songwriter Walter Afanasieff and pop star Mariah Carey, holds the #1 song position for the second year in a row.

NBC has announced a full line-up of special celebrity guests appearing in 'A Legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy,' an hourlong holiday special airing Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 10-11 p.m.; repeat Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 10 p.m.

Five-time Emmy Award winner Alex Duda has been named executive producer for “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” which debuts in national syndication next fall. The announcement was made by Tracie Wilson, Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs, NBCUniversal TV Distribution.
