Premiere Stages at Kean University will present three free interactive readings of the 2015-2016 Liberty Live Commission, My Lord, What a Night by Deborah Brevoort, November 13th through 15th in the Miron Student Center Little Theatre at Kean University.

SUMMER SHORTS 2015 began at 59E59 Theaters, produced by Throughline Artists (J.J. Kandel, Producing Director), on July 17 and continues through August 29. Premiere Stages at Kean University will launch its much-anticipated 2015 Season with a free staged reading of Kate Cortesi's provocative new play, Great Kills, June 19 - 21 in Kean's Murphy Dunn Theatre. Selected from over 440 submissions, Great Kills is the first of two scripts scheduled for expanded development as part of the 2015 Premiere Stages Play Festival.

City Theatre announces the lineup for this year's two-day Momentum festival, featuring new works by returning favorites Jessica Dickey and Keith Reddin.

Premiere Stages will celebrate its 11th Anniversary as Kean University's professional Equity theatre with a dynamic lineup of events, featuring a season of topical plays that focus on people of the region, both past and present. Enhanced by award-winning premieres, engaging musical presentations for young audiences, captivating summer camps for middle-school and high-school students, and collaborations with like-minded organizations both on and off campus, the 2015 season promises to be the most successful to date. In describing the season, John J. Theatre Now New York presented the 2nd Annual Sound Bites 10 Minute Musical Theatre Festival on December 8th 2014 at the 47th Street Theatre. An after-party, sponsored by Music Theatre International, was held after at Hurley's Saloon where awards were given and merriment was had.

Over 80 writers, directors, actors and musicians will present 10 unique musical shorts at SOUND BITES: a one-night-only off-Broadway event.
