Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced the company's 2014-2015 programming celebrating it's 20th anniversary season. The season will include New York and World premieres by Keith Josef Adkins, Robert Boswell, Sheila Callaghan, Laura Eason, Michael Laurence, Laith Nakli, Scott Organ, Ruben Polendo, and Daniel Talbott.

Artistic Director Blake Robison announced the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's 2014-15 season today. The Playhouse's 55th season - which is Robison's third as artistic director - boasts a homegrown world premiere, two Tony Award-winning plays, recent New York hits and musical tributes to Johnny Cash and Tri-State native Rosemary Clooney.
The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will launch a reading series of new works by playwrights with Cincinnati connections. Readings will take place on Monday evenings beginning Jan. 27 and continuing through Feb. 17.
In light of the murder of Trayvon Martin, The New Black Fest commissioned a diverse group of playwrights to write 10-minute plays reflecting on the tragedy. With these plays, The New Black Fest's wish is that serious discussion is incited in our communities around these urgent issues. The City University of New York will present Facing Our Truth: Short Plays on Trayvon, Race, and Privilege- held tomorrow, December 5, at the Graduate Center (365 Fifth Avenue) at 6:30 PM.

Celebrating 45 Years as New York City's longest continually running black theatre, Dr. Barbara Ann Teer's National Black Theatre Inc.
