Impro Melbourne presents two shows for this year's Melbourne International Comedy Festival: Late Night Impro and Celebrity Theatresports. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival will celebrate its 28th year in 2014 and is one of the three largest comedy festivals in the world, alongside Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival.

The Hideout Theatre has announced its entire 2014 season of Mainstage Shows. The shows will take on various issues from love, to 70s bad girls, to Kurosawa and more. ImprovBoston recognized its past and took a bold step toward the future this morning as the company made two big artistic announcements. Current Artistic Director Will Luera will transition to Artistic Director Emeritus and the theater is welcoming its first full-time Artistic Director, Michael Descoteaux. The transitions will begin effective October 1 and Descoteaux will begin his new position full time on January 1, 2013.
