The Warner Theatre is once again kicking off the holiday season by inviting the community to enjoy two films on our big screen for our 5th Annual Holiday Movie Event on Saturday, November 25. Free popcorn will be provided for both films, compliments of Elevator Service Company.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts has announced that the first U.S. National tour of the hit musical THE BODYGUARD, will play Reynolds Hall from Tuesday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 26. Tickets go on sale next Friday, Sept. 29.

WGN America announced today that it has acquired the U.S. rights to the compelling original drama series BELLEVUE, starring Academy(R) and Golden Globe(R) winner Anna Paquin ('True Blood,' 'Roots'), who executive produces alongside creators/showrunners Jane Maggs ('The Offering') and producer/director Adrienne Mitchell ('Bomb Girls,' 'Durham County').

The Zombies continue their remarkable 21st-century resurgence with additional North American tour dates, which includes a stop at the Capitol Theatre on Thursday, January 11 at 8 pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 28 at 10 am.

The Donmar Warehouse announces today two new plays for the 2017 autumn period.  Internationally-acclaimed theatre artist, Yael Farber, makes her Donmar debut directing David Harrower's haunting Knives in Hens with full casting that includes Christian Cook, Judith Roddy and Matt Ryan.  This will be the play's first major London revival since its premiere in 1995, when it instantly established Harrower as one of the UK's leading playwrights. 

RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE) has acquired U.S. rights to the thriller THE LIMEHOUSE GOLEM.

The third annual RED NOST DAY took place today concluding a six-week campaign of activity across the country. The campaign raised at least $35 million to help children in need, and has now raised more than $95 million in its first three years in the U.S.

The Geffen Playhouse today announced that Downton Abbey star Allen Leech will make his U.S. stage debut opposite Ginnifer Goodwin (Once Upon a Time, Big Love) in the Los Angeles Premiere of Constellations, Nick Payne's 2015 Broadway sensation. The Geffen's production is directed by Giovanna Sardelli (Guards at the Taj) and marks Goodwin's Los Angeles stage debut.
