Actor, writer, and comedienne Katie Rubin will reprise her new solo show, Why I Died, a Comedy! for nine performances only at the Atwater Village Theatre beginning January 3, 2014. Directed by Victor Bumbalo, Why I Died, a Comedy! recently enjoyed an acclaimed engagement at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood, and is now extended by popular demand.

The Marsh presents THE OY OF SEX, the "Best of SF Fringe" award-winning solo show from standup comedian Alicia Dattner. Using true stories from her life, Dattner outlines a recipe for disaster: take one virgin, two boyfriends, several dozen lovers, half a dysfunctional family, and one comedian. Bake 15 years, and sprinkle a pinch of polyamory. Serve hot, and voila! The result is this sizzling show about love addiction, created with help from contributing directors David Ford, Katie Rubin, and Jonathan Bender. THE OY OF SEX, a heart-wrenching, sobering, laugh-out-loud story of sex, drugs…and more sex, plays November 21, 2013 - January 18, 2014 (press opening December 6) at The Marsh San Francisco, 1062 Valencia Street.
