Five new cast members, Patrick Barrett, Elly Jay, Annabelle Laing, Will Luckett and Cilla Silvia will be joining the cast of Pretty Woman the Musical at the Savoy Theatre.

The casts and creative teams have been assembled for Zoetic Stage’s inaugural Finstrom Festival of New Work which will be presented virtually from June 23rd thru 27th, on the theatre company’s Facebook page.

The show will star Aimie Atkinson as 'Vivian Ward' and Danny Mac as 'Edward Lewis'. They are joined by are Rachael Wooding as 'Kit De Luca', Bob Harms as 'Happy Man/Mr Thompson', Neil McDermott as 'Philip Stuckey' and Mark Holden as 'James Morse'.

To mark Asian Pacific American Heritage Month this May, Theater Mu announced NEW EYES FESTIVAL: UN(SCENE) as part of the current 2020-2021 season. Theater Mu's longest-running tradition, the New Eyes Festival, has become a much-anticipated annual series of staged readings of new works from Asian American playwrights.

Minnesota’s Theater Mu's first mainstage production since the pandemic lockdown - playwright Susan Soon He Stanton's TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY  - will be live broadcasted February 5 through February 14, 2021, with video-on-demand available February 15 through February 21, 2021. In support of Theatre Mu, East West Players is including BIRTHDAY in its 55th anniversary season as a part of an East West Passport membership.

East West Players presents Theater Mu in its production of Susan Soon He Stanton's comedy Today Is My Birthday, directed by Theater Mu Artistic Director Lily Tung Crystal. The play stars Katie Bradley, China Brickey, Eric Sharp, Jomar Tagatac, and features East West Players' veteran actors Emily Kuroda and Greg Watanabe.

Theater M­u presents the TwentyPho Hour PlayFest, its first ever play festival featuring thirty theater artists creating brand new plays in under 24 hours.

Following on from their 24 hour all-singing-all-dancing Musical-athon, Aimie Atkinson, star of a?oeSix the Musicala?? and a?oePretty Woman a?' West Enda??, and Tom Gribby, Agent and Producer of the UK Premiere of a?oeThe Pirate Queena??, raised £10,421 for the Save the Children Coronavirus Appeal. 

A Green Day medley performed during the UK Lockdown by cast members of American Idiot has been released to support the Barn Theatre and The Ben Kinsella Trust.

The full cast has been announced for the West End production of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL. PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL begins performances at the Piccadilly Theatre on 13 February 2020, where it will play for a strictly limited engagement.

The Guthrie Theater presents the perennial holiday favorite A Christmas Carol, written by Charles Dickens, adapted by Crispin Whittell and directed by Lauren Keating. A Twin Cities holiday tradition for many, this season marks the Guthrie's 45th production, making it the longest run of A Christmas Carol in regional theater history. 

Gloria Steinem turns 85 this year, and she's still working as a feminist activist. As embodied in this regional premiere by the great Charity Jones, she's as humble as she is savvy. This production dives into her long life, consistently dedicated to issues of women's rights, but full of personal evolution and discovery. Dozens of supporting roles are taken up by a strong ensemble of six additional women, dedicated to explicating Steinem's life in both the personal and public arenas. The play unrolls in brisk, forthright, direct address to the audience.

COLLIDE presents a contemporary version of Oscar Wilde's classic novel premiering March 22- April 7 at Park Square Theatre. Set in modern day New York City, the story follows a beautiful young Dorian Gray who stumbles into an accidental photo opportunity and shoots to heights of social media fame. Disturbed that her physical beauty will deteriorate with age, Dorian wishes for eternal youth. Her wish is granted, and the photo rather than the woman degrades as she pursues a life of corruption and debauchery, reminding her that though her looks are unscathed, her soul is not. Can she still find salvation? Or is her soul trapped in the photograph?

A romantic comedy about a rich Asian man and a hard-working Asian American woman featuring an all Asian cast. No, I'm not talking about the soon-to-be smash hit movie CRAZY RICH ASIANS, I'm talking about a world premiere new play written by a local Hmong playwright and featuring a charming 10-person local cast. Theater Mu's THE KOREAN DRAMA ADDICT'S GUIDE TO LOSING YOUR VIRGINITY, written by May Lee-Yang, is a sweet, funny, fantastical story about love, friendship, and the melodrama of life.

The History Theatre is having fun this month, with a world premiere by the popular writing duo known as 'Hatchling': Jeffrey Hatcher (book) and Chan Poling (music and lyrics). LORD GORDON GORDON is a romp of a musical in the tradition of con man stories like THE MUSIC MAN. It's based on little known true events in Minnesota and New York in the 1870s-events that eventually led to the fleecing of a bunch of investors (including the wealthy robber baron Jay Gould) and a Minnesota militia marching on Canada.

Actress Anna May Wong (1905-1961) was incredibly prolific, appearing in silent movies, 'talkies,' television, plays and vaudeville. She was also stifled by a close-minded industry which largely limited the Chinese American actress to stereotyped roles, and the Hays code which kept her out of romantic leads.

Harry Judd, Matt Willis, his wife Giovanna Fletcher and his sister Carrie Hope Fletcher will all be appearing alongside Tom in the show, which arrives at the Eventim Apollo London for a special Christmas spectacular, for a strictly limited run from 21 28 December 2017.

Tom Fletcher announced that he is releasing a special Musical Edition of his novel 'The Christmasaurus', featuring the hit book and a brand new 14 track CD. Tom also announced the special guests who will be joining him for The Christmasaurus - Live On Stage. Check out rehearsal photos here!
