Earlier today I spoke to one of America's most beloved comedians - screen, stand-up or otherwise - the Emmy-winning Wanda Sykes about her upcoming appearance headlining Monday's GayFest Spring At Last! Gala to benefit The Harvey Milk School and she shared with me her message of hope to the next generation, what she wishes for in the equal rights movement in the near future, as well as personal stories of herself being bullied and how she remained resilient in the face of adversity. More of television's most beloved and iconic stars will be honored at the 'TV Land Awards 2011,' it was announced today by TV Land. The wildly popular '80s comedy series 'The Facts of Life' will receive the Pop Culture Award at the annual awards show which tapes for the very first time in New York City at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on Sunday, April 10 and airs on TV Land on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Additionally, Mr. Kotter himself, Gabe Kaplan, and Robert Hegyes, 'Sweathog' Juan Epstein, will join the rest of the cast of 'Welcome Back, Kotter' as the show receives the 35th Anniversary Award.

Dishing on all pop culture and shining a light on inappropriate water cooler talk 'Kathy Griffin WANTS A TONY' will feature all new material about her hilarious observations and run-ins with celebrities. The show is subject to change nightly depending on what Kathy decides is the news of the day. Let's just say Broadway may never be the same again! Performances begin March 11th and run through March 19th 2011 at the Belasco Theatre. Performance times are as follows: Monday at 8pm; Tuesday at 7pm; Wednesday-Friday at 8pm; Saturday at 2pm and 8pm; Sunday at 3pm.

Camp Rock, The Musical could easily be dismissed as so much homogenized, Disneyfied, teenaged pablum - but, in reality, it's much more than that. It's a fast-moving, engaging love story set to music and is much more akin to all those Judy Garland/Mickey Rooney 'let's put on a show!' movies than you might expect.

Comedienne Kathy Griffin has just announced on Twitter that she has addded two more shows to to limited Broadway run of KATHY GRIFFIN WANTS A TONY. THe extra performances will be held March 14 at 8 PM and March 19 at 2 PM.
