Comedienne Kathy Griffin has just announced on Twitter that she has addded two more shows to to limited Broadway run of KATHY GRIFFIN WANTS A TONY. The extra performances will be held March 14 at 8 PM and March 19 at 2 PM.

Double Emmy winner, Grammy nominee and NY Times Best Selling author Kathy Griffin is taking her stand-up comedy show to Broadway titled "Kathy Griffin WANTS A TONY" for 8 performances only. She will delight audiences with her outrageous candor and rapid fire wit. "While I have been asked to understudy for Spider-Man and take over for Al when he has finished his run in The Merchant of Venice, instead I have decided to take my very own show to Broadway. Just me and the microphone. Every night will be fresh material due to the revolving door of pop culture, political and celebrity missteps. I won't be able to hold back. If you are in the market for an evening of laughter, swearing and negativity you've found the right show!"

Dishing on all pop culture and shining a light on inappropriate water cooler talk "Kathy Griffin WANTS A TONY" will feature all new material about her hilarious observations and run-ins with celebrities. The show is subject to change nightly depending on what Kathy decides is the news of the day. Let's just say Broadway may never be the same again! Performances begin March 11th and run through March 19th 2011 at the Belasco Theatre. Performances times are Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday-Saturday at 8pm. Sunday at 3pm.

Tickets are priced from $61.50 to $121.50 for all performances and are on sale now at The Belasco Theatre box office and telecharge.com.
