Metta Theatre of Taos presents the premiere production of Unmanned, a new play by Robert Myers

Continuing its inaugural season, Detroit Public Theatre will heat up the late winter & early spring nights as it presents SEX WITH STRANGERS, running March 9 - April 3, 2016.

Vineyard Theatre today announced that their 2016 Gala honoring award-winning actress and Vineyard Board President Kathleen Chalfant and New York theatrical press agent Sam Rudy will be hosted by Michael Urie and Ryan Spahn. Scott Schwartz will direct the evening. Paul Masse will be the music director.

On January 22nd at 6:30 PM, the anniversary of Roe V. Wade, playwright Winter Miller will be hosting an 'abortion extravaganza' reading of her new play, SPARE RIB, as part of a nationwide series of events in conjunction with #ShoutYourAbortion.

The 'ReGroup Reads' series is gearing up for its second year. The free reading series, based on the best of American Theatre playwriting has already presented works by Paul Green, Tennessee Williams, Lillian Hellman, Maxwell Anderson, George S. Kaufman and more in its first year.

The Vineyard Theatre today announced that their 2016 Gala will honor Vineyard Board President and award-winning actress Kathleen Chalfant and New York theatrical press agent Sam Rudy. The annual Gala Fundraiser will take place on Monday, March 14, 2016, beginning at 6:30pm, at Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue).

ROSE, starring Kathleen Chalfant as Rose Kennedy, will end its limited engagement at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, NYC on Sunday, December 13th. Previews began November 21st for the Nora's Playhouse production of Laurence Leamer's solo play about Rose Kennedy. ROSE will have played 8 previews and 17 regular performances.

New York University's Fales Library and Special Collections presents a reading of 33 & 1/3 CORNELIA STREET, a new play by the critically acclaimed playwright Alvin Eng featuring Martha Wilson as iconic downtown painter Alice Neel and Bob Holman as urban legend/proto-Beat Poet, Joe Gould. The reading takes place tonight, December 4, 2015 at 7pm in Bobst Library, Third Floor, 70 Washington Square South, (at LaGuardia Place). [Subways A,C,E, B,D,M to West 4th Street; 6 line to Astor Place; R train to 8th Street.].

Women's Project Theater, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty and Managing Director Maureen Moynihan, announced today that Drama Desk nominee Harris Yulin (Hedda Gabler, Diary of Anne Frank) will return to play Robert Lowell opposite Lortel Award winner Mia Katigbak (Awake and Sing!) as Elizabeth Bishop from November 30 to December 5, 2015 in DEAR ELIZABETH, the inaugural production at the WP's new theatrical home the McGinn/Cazale Theatre, 2162 Broadway (at 76th Street).

This November, Mildred's Umbrella (MU) will join theaters, libraries, and colleges nationwide in the simultaneous staged reading of The Other Woman, a full-length, one-act play adapted from five essays appearing in the bestselling anthology The Other Woman: Twenty-one Wives, Lovers, and Others Talk Openly About Sex, Deception, Love, and Betrayal.
