The Moët British Independent Film Awards announced today that Chiwetel Ejiofor will be honoured with The Richard Harris Award which will be presented to him at this year's ceremony on Sunday 6 December at Old Billingsgate.

The Casting Society of America (CSA) will honor the recipients of its three major annual special awards at the 31st Artios Awards gala on January 21, 2016. The recipients are director Danny Boyle (Steve Jobs, Slumdog Millionaire) for the Career Achievement Award, casting director Bernard Telsey (Into The Woods, 'Ricki and the Flash,' Wicked) with the Hoyt Bowers Award, and writer-producers Michelle and Robert King ('The Good Wife') with the New York Apple Award.

You can take the writer out of the theatre, but you can't take the theatre out of the writer. For the past 20 years, Aaron Sorkin has been one of Hollywood's most successful scribes. From THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT to THE WEST WING to THE SOCIAL NETWORK, and many more remarkably successful projects in between, he has continually redefined the way audiences appreciate complex and intelligent characters.
