Johnson, Jack Lane, Radio Mouse Entertainment, Schaffert/Hummel, Driemeyer-Sills Productions, Michael Guccione, David Gersten, Erach Screwvala, and The Shubert Organization, by special arrangement with Cranberry Productions, are proud to welcome Celeste Oliva to the cast of SHEAR MADNESS. She replaces Kate Middleton in the role of Barbara beginning tonight (Wednesday July 20th), joining Tony and Drama Desk Award Winner Cady Huffman along with Jordan Ahnquist, Adam Gerber, Patrick Noonan, and Jonathan Randell Silver.
Six new members were elected to the board of trustees at Westport Country Playhouse at a June meeting. They join the current 32 trustees, led by Barbara Streicker of Westport, chair.

On Sunday afternoon, I had the pleasure of attending my school's Society of the Arts induction ceremony. It honors women who have graduated from our school and gone on to Broadway or have successful jobs in the Arts. I enjoyed hearing stories of past productions at my high school that took place on the stage that I am performing on today. After the ceremony, I had the pleasure of asking three of the honorees, all past theatre students, one question: What would you tell your high school theatre self now after achieving your goals?

The play explores the clash of conflicting natures and petty competitions that erupt amongst the cloistered teaching staff of an all-girls boarding school. In honor of the occasion, Bruce Jordan and Marilyn Abrams, co-creators, surrounded by his cast and other company members, served up anniversary cake.
The Shear Madness company joined the Off-Broadway League in collecting toys for the holidays for the clients of Safe Horizon.
