Len Cabral & Charlene Carpenzano to Receive 2016 Pell Awards

?At the 20th annual Pell Awards, Trinity Repertory Company will honor local artists Len Cabral and Charlene Carpenzano with Rhode Island Pell Awards for Excellence in the Arts alongside previously announced honorees The Public Theater artistic director Oskar Eustis, Laurie Eustis and Elizabeth Chace. The awards ceremony and celebration will be held at Ochre Court on the Salve Regina University Campus in Newport, RI on May 23, 2016. Trinity Rep to Honor Oskar and Laurie Eustis & Elizabeth Z. Chace at 2016 Pell Awards

At the 20th annual Pell Awards, Trinity Repertory Company will award Oskar Eustis and Laurie Eustis with the Pell Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts. Oskar currently serves as the artistic director of The Public Theater. Elizabeth Z. Chace, local businesswoman and philanthropist will be honored with the Charles Sullivan Award for Distinguished Service in the Arts. Nominations are now being accepted for additional local honorees. New ALICE IN WONDERLAND Exhibit Opening at New York Public Library for the Performing Arts

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center in Lincoln Center will present the free multimedia exhibition Alice Live! The exhibition will trace the history of Lewis Carroll's beloved Alice stories in live performance from their first professional staging through today. Alice Live! will be on display from October 2, 2015 through January 16, 2016 in The Library for the Performing Arts's Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery, Shelby Cullom Davis Museum.
