THREE WISE GUYS by Scott Alan Evans & Jeffrey Couchman, directed by Scott Alan Evans+, is up next as part of TACT's newTACTics Festival.

The industry reading of the new play, The Joys? of Being Yiddish, will be presented on Friday, June 9th at 10:45am and 2:00pm at The New 42 Rehearsal Studios (Studio 9A), 229 W. 42nd Street.

TACT concludes its 2016 - '17 season with its 7th annual newTACTics New Play Festival, a fresh collection of four unpredictable and engaging new works. The original plays at newTACTics always invite you to expect the unexpected, and this year's offerings are no exception.

Monday night in NYC, at Le Poisson Rouge, Broadway Bound Kids scored an impressive success with their second Broadway Bee competition; hosted by Rebecca Feldman and Jay Reiss, creators of The 25th Annual Putnam Country Spelling Bee. Check out photos from the event below!

The theatre world is abuzz about the Second Annual BROADWAY BEE on Monday, May 8th (at Le Poisson rouge in NYC). The fundraiser pits some of Broadway's brightest against each other in a high-spirited spelling bee, with eleven teams vying for the trophy.

This week, the Bros of Broadwaysted are flying without Game Master Kimberly as we sit down with the talented and lovely Leslie Becker. We're drinking out of flasks and minibar bottles and snacking on Baked by Melissa cupcakes as we chat about Leslie's career onstage, in the recording studio, as a songwriter and a published author.

Night Shyamalan, talk about why we love real Southern women, and Game Master Kimberly introduces a new game, 'Lights of Broadway Show Cards Debate.' We also discover that Jason has a killer British accent and yes, we even get a little real when discussing the core issues of CHURCH & STATE. This week we are officially branding ourselves as islanders because we're kissing the cod with COME FROM AWAY star Caesar Samayoa! We're pouring out gin & tonic and wine and discussing Caesar's epic journey with COME FROM AWAY from Seattle to DC, Toronto, and NYC (and an ice rink in Gander!)

With just under two weeks until the 2nd annual BROADWAY BEE fundraiser (May 8 at NYC's Le Poisson Rouge), will Broadway's next major competition see Team Beautiful 'The Carole King Musical' take home the trophy for a second year in a row?

Broadway Bound Kids, a NYC performing arts education organization, will host its second annual BROADWAY BEE fundraiser on Monday, May 8, at 7pm at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street, NYC). The Broadway Bee is an adults only spelling bee, featuring actors from current hit Broadway Shows. All proceeds go to provide performing arts opportunities for NYC youth.

As previously announced, the critically acclaimed Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof will end its run on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 2:00PM. This revival will have played a total of 463 performances when it gives its final bow. Just confirmed, a National Tour is planned beginning in the fall of 2018.

Four-time Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, She Loves Me, Chess, Les Miserables) joined the cast of Fiddler on the Roof as Golde last month and will play through the show's final performance on Saturday, December 31st. BroadwayWorld has a first look at Kuhn onstage below!

Four-time Tony Award Nominee Judy Kuhn(Fun Home, She Loves Me, Chess, Les Miserables) joins the cast of Fiddler on the Roof as Golde beginning tonight, Tuesday, November 22nd and will play through the show's final performance on Saturday, December 31st at 2:00 pm.  She takes over the role from Jessica Hecht whose final performance was on Sunday, November 20th.

Just announced, four-time Tony Award Nominee Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, She Loves Me, Chess, Les Miserables) will join the cast of Fiddler on the Roof as Golde.

Producers of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF have cancelled the Tuesday performance on October 11th, which falls out on the evening of Yom Kippur, to give company members who observe the holiday the ability to do so.

Along with the blaring burlesque trumpet that climaxes GYPSY's overture, the soft and hesitant sound of Fiddler on the Roof's opening fiddle solo that leads into Tevye's introduction of the people of Anatevka is among Broadway's most famous and beloved orchestral moments.

Though Herschel Bernardi's name was above the title on the opening nights of Broadway's BAJOUR and ZORBA, the musical theatre role he's most known for is one where he came in as a replacement, Teyve in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.

Two new videos preview her upcoming album, which will feature new solo music by Hall-Tompkins and the current FIDDLER ON THE ROOF revival's arranger Oran Eldor and music director/orchestrator Ted Sperling.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is a musical about traditions, but Silber's way of handing her role over may be completely new.
