For the first time in its smash 3 ½ year Broadway run, New York audiences have the opportunity to see Mary Poppins' original stage stars performing the roles they created together. Last night, August 24, Gavin Lee re-joined the Broadway company as Bert opposite his original Mary and Oliver Award-winning West End co-star Laura Michelle Kelly at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Mary Tyler Moore and Bernadette Peters will host the 12th annual BROADWAY BARKS!, a star-studded dog and cat adopt-a-thon benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. The event, produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is sponsored by the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) and Pedigree® Food for Dogs with additional sponsorship by the New York Times. The event will take place on Saturday, July 10th in Shubert Alley (located between 44th and 45th Streets, between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The festivities begin at 3:30 p.m.; celebrity presentations of pets from citywide animal shelters will take place between 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. (Celebrity participation begins at 5:15 PM).

Flaim, Lerner and Haberfield will mark their official Broadway debut with the production.

MARY POPPINS will welcome to the company Karl Kenzler as George Banks and Megan Osterhaus as Winifred Banks tonight, Monday, March 1. Kenzler and Osterhaus reprise the roles they originated in the critically-acclaimed North American touring production (currently performing in Tempe, Arizona through February 28 before opening in Denver, Colorado on March 5). Produced on Broadway by Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh, MARY POPPINS performs at the New Amsterdam Theatre.

Dick Van Dyke delighted theatergoers when he made a surprise cameo in the LA engagement of the MARY POPPINS NORTH AMERICAN TOUR.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes treated daughter Suri Cruise to evening out at the Ahmanson Theatre to see the LA engagement of the beloved stage musical, MARY POPPINS. This is the second time Suri has seen the world's most famous nanny on stage. Katie brought her to see the smash hit Broadway production in August 2008 during NY rehearsals for her own Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's All My Sons.

      A great way to celebrate the holiday season in Los Angeles is to spend it with Mary and Bert in the magical "Mary Poppins," which will have a special two-week holiday schedule including a 6:30 p.m. performance on New Year's Eve, Thursday, December 31, 2009, and 2 p.m. matinees on Wednesday, December 23, Thursday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 30. There will be no performances on Christmas and New Year's Day.  As one of the musical's beloved songs says, it'll be a "Jolly Holiday" at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre.

Following a three-year run on Broadway as Mrs. Brill, the harried cook and housekeeper in the beloved musical 'Mary Poppins,' Jane Carr returns to her hometown to play the role in Los Angeles, beginning Friday, November 20, 2009 at 8 p.m.

The WEST COAST PREMIERE of Broadway's Perfectly Magical Musical opened at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on Sunday, November 15.
