Producer Daryl Roth announced today that "Grease" star and Love, Loss, and What I Wore alumna Didi Conn will join the show again for six performances only, filling in for current cast member Julie Halston from Wednesday, June 8th through Saturday, June 11th, who will be out of the show fulfilling a previous commitment.

Singer Joanna Pitt and Musical Director Todd Schroeder will deliver a loving tribute to Karen and Richard Carpenter's rise to fame in one unforgettable show on Sunday, June 5th at a 2 PM matinee in Palm Desert at The Joslyn Center's Arthur Newman Theatre. Last night, April 18, the company of LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE celebrated the newest cast members Minka Kelly and Susan Sullivan. Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Off Broadway hit Love, Loss, and What I Wore, is now in its second smash year at the Westside Theatre and also features Conchata Ferrell ('Two and a Half Men'), AnnaLynne McCord ('90210'), Anne Meara ('Sex and the City') and B. Smith (lifestyle expert and restaurateur).

Getting up on stage by yourself is, to say the least, a daunting task. If you forget a line, or a bit of staging, there's no one there to turn to other than you. So it's a good thing we have such amazing talent here in Seattle to pull it off. This is why Theatre Off Jackson is back with their 5th annual Solo Performance Festival (SPF #5). And while I was only able to catch two of the seven acts running over the next few weeks, if the others are anything like these two, then who needs a full cast as these performers have enough talent and energy for 100 people.
