Berkshire Theatre Group presents Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, directed by Karen Allen, featuring Angel Desai as Frankie and Darren Pettie as Johnny at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage. Opening Night is Saturday, August 1, at 8pm. Preview performances begin on Wednesday, July 29 at 7pm and the production closes Saturday, August 22 at 8pm.
First Lady Michelle Obama Named Honorary Chair of Women's Voices Theater Festival

Women's Voices Theater Festival organizers today announced that First Lady of the United States of America Michelle Obama will serve as Honorary Chair of the Women's Voices Theater Festival, which unites more than 50 professional theater companies in the nation's capital region, September through October 2015. She joins a prestigious group of theater artists and advocates on the Honorary Committee supporting the Festival's mission to celebrate the work of women in theater. Additionally, eight ancillary events sponsored by The Washington Post have been announced during the Festival, to be hosted by the seven originating theaters-Arena Stage, Ford's Theatre, Round House Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Signature Theatre, Studio Theatre and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company-along with Festival participant Theater J.
San Antonio Symphony's Movie and Music Concert Series at the Majestic Begins in September

Following up on the success of last year's two-part movie concert series, the San Antonio Symphony and the Majestic Theatre announce the 2015-2016 movie concert series focusing on two iconic films from master director Steven Spielberg - E.T.: the Extra Terrestrial on September 11-12 and Raiders of the Lost Ark on February 19-20. In addition to this year's movie series, the San Antonio Symphony announces its POPs rock concert series with Windborne's The Music of Queen on October 23 and The Music of Led Zeppelin on October 24. Amplified by a full rock band and accompanied by two outstanding singers for each program, creator and arranger Brent Havens guest conducts the ensemble as they capture Led Zeppelin's 'sheer blast and power and the legendary sound and music of Queen.' Both series of performances will bring innovative interpretations across art mediums to San Antonio.

Berkshire Theatre Group and Artistic Director/CEO, Kate Maguire, have announced its 2015's Summer Season Musical, the 10th Annual Community Theatre Production, The Fitzpatrick Main Stage productions and a medley of lively acts scheduled to perform at The Colonial Theatre and The Unicorn Theatre. BTG will be announcing a second round of programming, including The Unicorn Theatre's Summer Season, in the next several weeks.

The Long Shirt began previews on July 7th and will run through August 23rd. This play is James Franco's directing debut.
