Gideon Productions presenst at The Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street between Bowery and Lafayette) - UNIVERSAL ROBOTS, a science fiction epic from acclaimed playwright Mac Rogers inspired by Karel Capek's seminal 1921 play R.U.R.

A troupe of eight autonomous drones designed by Verity Studios soared onto Broadway as part of a live performance in Cirque du Soleil - PARAMOUR. This is the first time Cirque du Soleil - known for its stunning acrobatics and world-class production design - has specifically created a show for Broadway, and it's the first time autonomous robots have taken center stage there.

Gideon Productions is pleased to launch an Underserved Audiences Outreach Program as part of their production of Mac Rogers' Universal Robots at The Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street), June 3-26. Gideon's Underserved Audiences Outreach Program will feature special performances interpreted for the Blind and Deaf, as well as a Family Support Matinee for parents with young children.

Gideon Productions is honored to receive the Donn Russell Fund grant from the New York Innovative Theatre Foundation. This grant money will be used to support their upcoming production of Universal Robots, which will be presented by The Sheen Center in June 2016.

The three companies in residence at Park Square Theatre for the 2015 season, Sandbox Theatre, Theatre Pro Rata and Girl Friday Productions, today announce their programming for Park Square Theatre's new Andy Boss Thrust Stage for the next year. These partners will bring diverse aesthetic approaches and artistic forms, fresh talent as well as favorite faces to Park Square's seasons over the next three years. The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the full lineup of productions, concerts, readings and special events for its 11th annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 7th and continue through July 27th.
