A new sitcom starring Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo might be headed to ABC in the near future. According to PerezHilton.com, this sitcom (previously mentioned on BWW) now has a script commitment from ABC network and ABC Studios for such a show with the National Lampoon's Vacation stars attached. With a script by Brad Copeland, the show is from producer Aaron Kaplan. The unnamed work centers around Chase and D'Angelo as a married couple who suddenly have the task of raising their grandchildren by themselves.

Nickelodeon has ordered a 20-episode third season of its hit family comedy Instant Mom for Nick at Nite and NickMom, it was announced today by Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon's President of Content Development and Production. Beginning Oct. 2, season two of Instant Mom will premiere in its new timeslot on Nick at Nite, Thursdays at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The series also airs during the adult-targeted NickMom nighttime comedy block on the Nick Jr. channel.
