Houston Symphony Announces Eight-Concert Tour Through Europe

Music Director Andres Orozco-Estrada will lead the Houston Symphony on a four-country, eight-city European Tour through some of Europe's most prestigious concert halls and festivals, March 9-March 19, 2018. World-renowned violinist and three-time Grammy Award-winner Hilary Hahn joins the Houston Symphony for all performances. The high-profile tour, which features concerts in Belgium, Germany, Poland and Austria, is Orozco-Estrada's first international tour with the orchestra and the Houston Symphony's first major European tour in more than 20 years.

2017 STRAWBERRY ONE-ACT FESTIVAL Ripens in NYC

The Riant Theatre - the Audelco Award-winning nonprofit providing a nurturing developmental environment for playwrights and theatre creators of diverse cultural backgrounds - presents THE STRAWBERRY ONE-ACT FESTIVAL. A celebration of cultural diversity, THE STRAWBERRY ONE-ACT FESTIVAL will be presented at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues, NYC) beginning today, July 13th. The festival will continue through Sunday, July 30th, 2017.

More Than 50 Playwrights, Directors & Dramaturgs Set for 2017 MFA Workshop at Kennedy Center

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, will co-present the 12th annual MFA Playwright's Workshop (MFAPW) in association with the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and Stanford University's National Center for New Plays.

A REAL BOY to Tug the Heartstrings at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters will welcome the world premiere of A REAL BOY, written by Stephen Kaplan and directed by Audrey Alford. Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival concludes its 51st season with a revival of the acclaimed Budapest Festival Orchestra production of Don Giovanni, directed and conducted by Ivan Fischer, with a cast led by baritone Christopher Maltman; Renee and Robert Belfer Music Director Louis Langree leading two Festival Orchestra programs featuring pianist Kirill Gerstein in his Mostly Mozart debut and violinist Gil Shaham; a special appearance by Langree on piano in a pre-concert recital with Susanna Phillips; and Mostly Mozart artists-in-residence International Contemporary Ensemble performing a nature-inspired program by three pioneering female composers and featuring Wu Wei in his festival debut.

Michael McElroy and Aisha De Haas to be Featured in RUSS KAPLAN'S BROADWAY JAZZ SESSION

Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival continues its 51st season with its third week of performances, including presentations of The Dark Mirror: Zender's Winterreise directed by Netia Jones and starring tenor Ian Bostridge. The production also features members of the International Contemporary Ensemble, Mostly Mozart artists-in-residence, performing Hans Zender's orchestration of Schubert's Winterreise, conducted by Baldur Bronnimann in his Mostly Mozart debut.
