'Salon 2009' Benefit Will Feature Jbara, Kowalik, Huffman, Eakes, Spirtas, Harada and Shindle

'Salon 2009' will be presented Nov. 2 at the residence of Ron Pobuda on Central Park South. The evening, the fourth annual in the 'Salon' series, will be comprised of songs and stories and will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.

The third annual GAYFEST NYC, the country's premier festival of new gay-themed plays, will be presented June 3-6, 2009 at the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex, 312 West 36th Street, New York City. The not-for-profit GAYFEST NYC, Inc. develops new LGBT works for world stages and film and television production and provides in-school elective programs and scholarships for students of Harvey Milk High School. Since June 2007, GAYFEST NYC has presented seventeen scholarships to graduating seniors.
