The premier performance of Bacharach to the Future, a fund-raiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, honored music legend Burt Bacharach, the composer of 'That's What Friends Are For,' the pioneering recording that benefited The Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) in 1985.

POZ is pleased to announce the premier performance of Bacharach to the Future, a fund-raiser for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The 22nd Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction held yesterday Sunday, September 21, raised a grand total of $496,380 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA).

The 22ND ANNUAL BROADWAY FLEA MARKET & GRAND AUCTION was held this Sunday, September 21 from 10 AM - 7 PM in Shubert Alley (225 West 45th Street). Celebrities of theater and daytime television came out to show their support. As in previous years, Broadway and daytime fans had the opportunity to get their photo taken with various celebrities at the Celebrity Photo Booths. Two Celebrity Photo Booths were be in operation on Sunday

Such original Broadway cast members include Kay Cole, Patricia Garland, Sammy Williams (Tony Award), Ronnie Dennis and Nancy Lane who will be joined by join other Broadway A Chorus Line alumni Matt Zarley, Christina Saffran Ashford, Kathryn Wright, Kevin Spirtas and DeLee Lively, as well as cast members Alisan Porter and Brad Anderson from the 2006 Broadway revival, plus touring and regional cast members Theresa Hayes, Tara Radcliffe, Jill Townsend, Geoffrey Kidwell, Laura Nickerson, Russell Nickerson, Luis Avilla, Craig Donnelly, Ty West, Brittany Carson and many more. On Monday, October 29 at 7PM, comedienne Joy Behar (ABC's 'The View') and Tony nominee Christopher Sieber (Spamalot) co-hosted the second yearly edition of 'An Intimate Salon,' a private benefit event for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

Los Angeles City College Theatre Alumni & Associates (LACCTAA) will present 'Two's Company - An All-Star Event Celebrating The Songs of Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz.' Under the direction and executive produced by Bruce Kimmel, hosted by Cindy Williams, produced by Cason Murphy, with choreography by Adam Cates and musical direction by Richard Berent, the show will feature an All-Star Cast. The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Kritzerland, Inc. will present the New York premiere of The Brain from Planet X, a 1950's sci-fi spoof about alien invasion with book by David Wechter and Bruce Kimmel and music, lyrics and direction by Kimmel.
